Despite its quiet, countryside setting, the neighborhood is roughly 20 minutes from downtown Durham, 25 minutes from Duke University, and about 30 minutes from Research Triangle Park and RDU International Airport.

Treyburn pairs a rural, conservation-minded setting with full access to the Triangle’s major employers and amenities. More than 1,600 acres surrounding the community are permanently protected through a partnership with the Triangle Land Conservancy, preserving the natural landscape and culturally significant sites that give Treyburn its sense of place.
Which schools serve Treyburn?
Treyburn falls within the Durham Public Schools attendance zone, with nearby schools serving northern Durham County. Because assignments can change, we recommend confirming your specific address using the official DPS school locator. What do homes in Treyburn cost?

Does the HOA sell homes?

The Country Club
Is Treyburn Country Club membership included with my home?
No, and this is an important distinction. Treyburn Country Club is a private club operated under the McConnell Golf umbrella, and membership is separate from membership in the homeowners association. Owning a home in Treyburn does not include club membership; the two are managed independently.
What amenities does the country club offer?
Treyburn Country Club, located at 1 Old Trail Drive, features a Tom Fazio–designed championship golf course (par 72, 7,175 yards), named “Best New Course” by Golf Digest at its debut. The 47,000-square-foot clubhouse offers fine and casual dining and an event lawn, along with a 25-meter swimming pool, Har-Tru tennis courts, pickleball, and a modern fitness center. The Country Club
Who manages the homeowners association?
The community is governed by the Treyburn Residents Owners Association (HOA) and managed by [Management Company Name], which handles day-to-day operations, dues, and homeowner requests.
When does the Board of Directors meet?
Board meetings are held at the Clubhouse on the third Tuesday of every month (with the exception of June, July, and December) at 6pm. All residents are welcome to attend.
Do I need approval before making changes to my home?
Yes. Any exterior modification, such as new paint, fencing, or a shed, requires approval from the Treyburn HOA Board and the Architectural Review Committee before work begins. Please review the Architectural Review Guidelines and submit an application before starting your project.
